Previously until Friday (16/9) at 09.00 WIB, PT Pos Indonesia had distributed BLT BBM in 482 regencies/cities with a total of 12,701,985 KPM.

Furthermore, Social Minister Risma said that the government would increase the budget for social assistance to be distributed to orphans, single elderly and people with disabilities in December 2022.

“We also received an additional budget from the Ministry of Finance of Rp. 400 billion. We will use that for in December, we will hand over to the target of 946,863 orphans, Rp. 200 thousand per child per month,” said Risma.

Furthermore, the Minister of Social Affairs explained that the government will also provide social assistance to as many as 334,011 single elderly people who are more than 80 years old and to as many as 98,934 persons with disabilities.

“Especially the elderly who are helpless and they have no family, so they are single elderly. The total target was 334,011 people (elderly). Then also people with disabilities, this December we will distribute 98,934 people with disabilities, so the value is per day IDR 21,000 for the number of days,” he explained.
