This has earned BRI the award for “Best Share 2022 in the Big Cap Category (Market Capitalization Above Rp. 10 Trillion) in the Financial Sector” held by Berita Satu Media Holdings.

On a separate occasion, BRI’s Finance Director Viviana Dyah Ayu said the Company always maintains investor confidence by continuing to maintain good and sustainable business growth. This is also supported by the condition of economic recovery in the MSME segment which has positive implications for BRI’s financial performance.

This award is a momentum for BRI to continue to improve performance and maintain sustainable growth,” said Viviana.

As one of the blue chip stocks, BBRI has a strong and growing investor base. Currently, 23% of the total investors who invest in bluechip shares (market cap above Rp 100 trillion) are BRI shareholders.

This year, BBRI shares also marked an important milestone by recording an all-time high that occurred at the end of trading April 26, 2022. Not only that, BBRI shares on the stock exchange this year were also marked by various corporate actions.

Most recently, BRI is carrying out a share buyback process with a maximum total value of Rp 3 trillion. As is known, on March 1, 2022 through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), BRI has obtained shareholder approval to carry out the buyback of BBRI shares, and the process is carried out within 18 months from the approval of the buyback through the GMS, or in the span of March 1 2022 – August 31, 2023.

From a business perspective, BRI’s performance managed to grow positively in the midst of a challenging situation. At the end of June 2022, BRI recorded a consolidated net profit of Rp24.88 trillion or grew 98.38% year on year (yoy). Meanwhile, total assets increased 6.37% yoy to Rp1,652.84 trillion. In terms of lending and financing, on a consolidated basis it reached Rp1,104.79 trillion or grew by 8.75% yoy.

Even BRI’s MSME loan portfolio, as the Company’s core business, grew 9.81% from Rp. 837.82 trillion at the end of June 2021, to Rp. 920 trillion at the end of June 2022. This increased the portion of MSME loans to 83.27% of the total loan portfolio. and financing of the Company.
