Merdeka.com – The online transportation platform Gojek has officially implemented tariff changes starting today, to support the welfare and operational costs of partners for online motorcycle taxi drivers or drivers.
Gojek’s Senior Vice President (SVP) Corporate Affairs, Rubi W Purnomo said that the tariff change was Gojek’s responsibility to support the welfare of online motorcycle taxi drivers after the determination of the increase in fuel prices.BBM) by the government some time ago.
“Gojek has imposed a change in GoRide rates in accordance with regulations that are effective on September 11, 2022,” he said in Denpasar, Bali, quoted by Antara, Sunday (11/9).
In addition to increasing Gojek fares, Rubi Purnomo stated that his party is proactively adjusting rates for GoCar, GoFood, GoSend, and GoMart services to encourage maximum revenue potential for driver partners.
“This tariff adjustment is expected to support driver partners in meeting daily operational costs, while ensuring Gojek and driver partners can always provide the best service for customers,” he said.
Previously, the latest ojol tariff provisions were divided into three zones, namely Zone I Sumatra, Java non-Jabodetabek, and Bali. Zone II Jabodetabek. Zone III Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua.
For the cost of online motorcycle taxi services in 2022, it was decided, for Zone I the lower limit was increased from Rp. 1,850 to Rp. 2,000, the upper limit was increased from Rp. 2,300 – Rp. 2,500. So there is an increase of 6-10 percent for the lower and upper limit service fees.
For zone II, from KP 548 the lower limit increased from Rp.2,250 to Rp.2,550. The upper limit is increased from Rp2,650 to Rp2,800. So there is an increase for the lower limit of 13.33 percent, the upper limit of 6 percent from KP 558 in 2020.
For zone III, from Rp. 2,100, it rose to Rp. 2,300, or an increase of 9.5 percent. For the upper limit, it increased from Rp. 2,600 to Rp. 2,750 or 5.7 percent of the increase.
Meanwhile, the minimum service fee is adjusted based on the first 4 km distance. So for zone I the first 4 km is Rp. 8,000 – Rp. 10,000, zone II is Rp. 10,200 – Rp. 11,200, for zone III it is Rp. 9,200 – Rp. 11,000. [azz]
