Moscow Reveals Terms of the Putin-Zelenskiy Dialogue | merdeka.com

Merdeka.com – Russia gave conditions regarding the possibility of holding a dialogue between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. The dialogue between the two leaders of the countries involved in the war will not take place unless these conditions are met.

“For the Putin-Zelenskiy talks, nothing has changed here. Nobody needs to meet for the sake of meeting,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, quoted by Russia Today, Tuesday (6/9).

Peskov added, to bring Putin and Zelenskiy together, a number of things need to be done.

“There is no discussion about it (Putin-Zelenskiy meeting) for now,” he said.

Earlier on Sunday, Peskov told the Rossiya 1 TV channel that Moscow was ready to negotiate with Zelenskiy only if Russia’s demands were met by Kiev.

Zelenskiy previously expressed his desire to meet Putin in person to discuss the ongoing conflict. But later he said talks with Moscow were impossible. [pan]
