Merdeka.com – Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan or commonly known as Zulhas made a working visit to Cirebon, Sunday (17/7). There were several agendas carried out by the General Chairperson of the PAN while in Cirebon.
Starting from monitoring the availability of prices for basic necessities at Jagasatru Market, Zulhas also took the time to have a dialogue with onion farmers at Tersana Village Hall, Balagedog, Cirebon Regency.
Zulhas also attended sea alms or Nadran activities with fishermen who were at the Citemu Village Hall, Mundu, Cirebon.
In his activities, Zulhas visited the residence of one of the PAN cadres and also Indonesian musician, Charly Van Houten. When he met Zulhas, Charly hoped that the Trade Minister would be able to make a big contribution to Cirebon.
“As a native of Cirebon, I hope that the arrival of Bang Zulhas can help and provide solutions to improve the economy of trade in agricultural, fishery and other agricultural products, especially for Cirebon,” said Charly.
Charly said that during his visit to Cirebon, Zulhas also took the time to meet and stay in touch with his parents.
“I happen to know Mr. Zulhas very well, coincidentally, when Mr. Zulhas was active in Cirebon and took the time to visit my parents’ house,” said Charly.
Charly told, Zulhas also directly received onion farmers in his area to discuss. Incidentally, Charly’s father is a former agricultural extension worker.
“Because you, apart from the village head, a former agricultural instructor, finally gathered some onion farmers in Tersana Balagedog Village to talk directly to discuss, please help. Then after that I also accompanied Mr. Zulhas to visit the fishermen in the north coast of Cirebon while watching the routine sea alms event ( Nadran),” said Charly.
