Merdeka.com – The Minister of Communications and Information Technology (Menkominfo) Johnny G. Plate admitted that the cellphone numbers that are commonly used are being secured due to hacking. However, he confirmed that he still uses Indonesian numbers to carry out activities.
“My number is still Indonesian. There are two types of WhatsApp. Personal and business WhatsApp,” said Johnny.
“But while cyber attacks on certain Indonesian numbers were secured, I still used the Indonesian simcard for my duties as a minister,” he added.
The Minister of Communication and Informatics requested that this issue no longer need to be fussed over because changing a cell phone number is a natural thing.
“Many people who change their cellphone numbers don’t make a fuss, that’s about it,” he added.
He added that this issue should not be mixed up because many statements are biased and confuse the public.
“So again, I have several WA groups which are divided into two, where one is for business and the number is Indonesia,” he said.
Previously, it was known that the Minister of Communication and Information changed his number to the United States code after Bjorka hackers opened his personal data.
