Merdeka.com – Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto visited Solo City Friday (16/09) evening. The General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP met with the Mayor of Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka at Kusuma Sahid Prince Hotel.

Even though he is a minister in the field of economy, the man born in Surabaya 57 years ago, he didn’t talk much according to his field. Airlangga actually delivered material related to culture. He even wore a beskap outfit with a typical Solo blangkon.

The event, which was packaged in the ‘Srawung Sanak Mangkunegaran’ discussion forum, discussed more about the special city of Solo. Solo, according to him, has two sources of Javanese culture that can be used to develop tourism. The two powers are the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace and the Mangkunegaran Temple.

“For example, the plane, Solo has twin engines (two engines). One is Pura Mangkunegaran and the other is Kasunanan. Even before Indonesia existed, the history was there,” he said.

Airlangga assessed that currently Pura Mangkunegaran is increasingly existing in developing tourism potential based on Javanese culture. This is thanks to the cohesiveness that exists between Mangkunagoro (MN) X Bhre Cakrahutomo Wira Sudjiwo and the Mayor of Solo. Gibran Rakabuming Raka. For that he asked Gibran to do the same with the Kasunanan Palace.

“Currently the central government is encouraging the development of culture-based tourism in the city of Solo by holding many events, one of which is the G20,” he explained.

“There’s a lot of culture in Solo, maybe Mr. Wali can take a look at the Kasunanan, and take a look, sir. I know it’s not simple, if it’s cleaned up, it will be better, sir,” he said again.

Airlangga admitted that his arrival to Solo could not be separated from his status which still has the breed or lineage of the Mangkunegaran Temple. He claims to have the blood of Ki Ageng Gribig and Mangkunegara VII.

“The srawung event here is held in the form of a talk. Of course, we see what the grandfather’s mandate is. One of them is continuing the Yaa Qowiyyu tradition in Jatinom, Klaten,” he explained.

Received a deposit from Airlangga, Gibran Rakabuming promised to follow up. Especially Airlangga’s request about the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace.

“Later we will follow up. I will sowan (facing) there (Kasunanan Palace),” he said.

Although he has often met with the family of the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace, Gibran admitted that he had never held a meeting with the two conflicting parties of the Kasunanan Palace at the same time.

“I have met many times; but I have never met all of them. So my mediator is also ready, but I can’t interfere in internal matters,” he said.

Gibran hopes that in the future the Kasunanan Palace can be touched by the Solo City Government. Because the City Government is committed to assisting the arrangement in the area.

“We already have a commitment to help and organize the Keraton area,” he concluded. [ded]
