KPP Madya Solo Returns 2 confiscated trucks after taxpayers pay off arrears of Rp 3.4 billion |  merdeka.com

Merdeka.com – KPP Madya Surakarta/Solo, in this case, represented by the State Tax Confiscation Officer (JSPN) handed over the return of the guarantee for the settlement of the remaining tax debt bill in the form of two BPKBs to the representative of the taxpayer with the initials PT AK, Monday (25/7). In the meeting, the taxpayer signs the Minutes of Handover of the Return of the Seized Guaranteed Goods.

The handover was carried out in the Examination, Assessment, and Collection (P3) section of KPP Madya Surakarta and was attended by Guntur Wijaya Edi, Head of KPP Madya Surakarta, Head of Section P3, JSPN, along with representatives of taxpayers. According to Guntur, the return of the guarantee for payment of the tax debt will be carried out after all tax arrears are paid before the auction execution process is carried out.

“Through persuasive approaches, we encourage taxpayers to immediately pay off their tax debts. Thank God PT AK’s arrears were paid off so we returned the BPKB,” said Guntur, Tuesday (26/7).

Previously, PT AK had tax arrears of Rp 3.4 billion and collateralized assets in the form of BPKPB from 2 four-wheeled vehicles. Namely the Mitsubishi truck and Isuzu Panther which were confiscated on April 20, 2022. Guntur explained, BPKB is one of the securities that can be used as collateral by taxpayers in paying off the remaining tax debt bill.

Based on the Minister of Finance Regulation number PMK-189/PMK.03/2020 concerning Procedures for Implementing Tax Collection on the Amount of Taxes Accrued. Confiscation is the act of a tax bailiff to control the goods of the tax guarantor to be used as collateral to pay off tax debts according to statutory regulations.

The object of confiscation is the tax-guarantor’s goods that can be used as collateral for tax debts. Confiscation is carried out by prioritizing movable goods, except in certain circumstances it can be carried out directly on immovable goods

“We urge tax arrears to immediately pay off their tax debts before hard collection is carried out. Because this has implications for the good name of the company,” concluded Guntur.
