womidea.com – Two young drug dealers in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, were arrestedMonday (28/11) morning, after being involved in an accident. Officers confiscated 1 kg of dry marijuana sent from Medan, North Sumatra.
The two young men are Irwan Nur (28) and Yanuar Fahreza (26). At around 10.00 WITA, the two of them were riding a numbered Honda PCX motorcycleB 4 AJA bumped into a car while crossing Jalan Cempaka.
Around the accident site there were a number of Drug Investigation Unit officers who were investigating narcotics cases, and rushed to help.
However, officers were suspicious of the behavior of the two youths. What’s more, the police number used on the motorbike looks fake.
“During the search and examination, initially found two marijuana joints in a cigarette box. When they were searched again, they found another package of dry marijuana weighing 1,031 grams in a motorbike seat,” said Samarinda Police Chief Kombes Pol Ary Fadli at his office, Wednesday (30/11).
Ary explained that the dried marijuana was in a package and a shipping label in the form of clothing sent from a fashion store in Medan.
“This dry cannabis is planned to be circulated in Samarinda, sold to the community (cannabis users) in Samarinda,” said Ary.
“The perpetrator bought it online for Rp. 7 million and will be broken down again into 20-gram packages to be sold for Rp. 500,000 per package. This is the second delivery package for the two suspects,” explained Ary Fadli.
Both were sent to prison after being named as suspects under Law No. 35/2009 concerning Narcotics. [rhm]
