Governor Anies Calls Jakarta City PR: Brings Equality | merdeka.com

Merdeka.com – Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan said Jakarta had homework to be able to present a feeling of equality. This was conveyed by Anies when talking about the message of unity at the 13th Regional Conference (Muswil) of the Pancasila Youth.

“In Jakarta, we have homework to be able to bring a feeling of equality, a feeling of togetherness. Not by reducing the big ones but by raising the small ones, that’s what we must do together,” said Anies at the Lagoon Garden Ballroom, Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, Saturday. (16/7).

Anies explained that Pancasila was designed in the cities of Jakarta and Jakarta, he said, to become a symbol of unity where Pancasila grew and developed. So, according to him, Jakarta should be able to become a manifestation of Pancasila.

Although Anies said, it is difficult to bring unity in inequality, the feeling of equality can lead to unity. For Anies, one way is to respect differences between people.

“Not by reducing the big ones but by raising the small ones. That’s what we have to do together. Push the small ones to grow, push the small ones to have the same opportunity,” he said.

Previously, Anies attended the XIII Regional Conference (Muswil) of the Pancasila Youth Organization of DKI Jakarta Province. Anies is scheduled to attend to give a speech as well as open the Muswil.

In his speech, Anies spoke of unity in the 13th Muswil for the Pancasila Youth. Anies stated that not many organizations dared to use the name Pancasila as their party identity like the Pancasila Youth Organization did.

“Not many organizations in this Republic dare to carry the name Pancasila on their shoulders. When we put Pancasila as the name of the organization then we have a moral responsibility that is more than just a constitutional responsibility,” said Anies
