“After (the bitten area) turns red, we remove the venom,” said Heru Gundul while massaging the area around the cobra bite.
Heru Gundul then explained that therapy or treatment to expel cobra venom with hot water and salt could be done at home.
“Do it as hard as you can, dip it, lift it. Or if it (bites) on a large organ such as the hand or foot, you can use a small towel or wet towel, dip it and keep it compressed. You have to do it repeatedly until the blue color really fades , said Heru Gundul.
