Asking Airlines Not to Change Flight Schedules for Hajj Pilgrims, Minister of Religion: I Asked According to the Contract

Suara.com – Minister of Religion (Minister of Religion) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas asked airline not to change flight schedules pilgrim as he pleases. He asked for this because changing the flight schedule would have a direct impact on the congregation.

“You can’t change departures at will because this is related to pilgrims and others including budgeting and consumption, especially for pilgrims, which are not as easy as in Indonesia,” said Yaqut after the evaluation meeting for the 2022 Hajj in Jeddah, Saturday (16/7/2022).

Yaqut revealed that his party had received a letter to change the 16th schedule from Garuda Indonesia until today. This is certainly very influential on the pilgrims.

“Even today we received a letter that should have returned from Medina to be shifted asking to return to Jeddah. This took approximately nine hours of preparation, meaning this will reduce the rights of the congregation while in Medina, besides of course there are other consequences related to financing,” he explained.
